2003-2007 Cummins 5.9 Injectors

All injector purchases require either the cores to be sent first, or the core charge must be applied to the total price. Please contact us if you intend to send your cores ahead of time.

At Motorsport Diesel with our re-manufactured common rail Diesel injectors, we go the extra distance in ensuring you the highest quality injectors on the market.

We use Genuine Bosch replacement parts, including control valves and nozzles. Each injector is ultrasonically cleaned in a special solution to remove oil and rust residue.

Parts for reuse such as shims, or armature components, retaining nuts, and other components are meticulously inspected and measured for wear and squareness. Injector bodies may receive machining to correct fit and tolerance issues.

Injectors are re-assembled using precision gauges and fixtures to ensure all clearances are properly maintained. Things such as: air gap, armature lift, shim squareness, pintle lift, and start of injection spring tension, are just a few of the details involved with the proper calibration and settings for quality re-manufacturing.

After the hand assembly of each injector they are completely tested and output is verified on our Accu-Rate CR common rail injector testing bench. Each injector comes with a comprehensive test report, verifying the flow parameters. A minimum of 5 tests are performed with output being measured from Start of Injection to Full Power Output, at pressures up to 2200 Bar.

All sets are calibrated to flow within +/- 1% at full power, or better. We offer stock replacements to over 250% additional flow.

All oversize injectors feature Sac type nozzles, we also offer other custom sizes, please call for information and pricing.

Horsepower Ratings: These ratings are an industry standard, although they are MEANINGLESS! We put them here just as a reference to comparable sizing based on percentage of additional flow output. As with any component, you are buying POTENTIAL. By far the best method to rate injectors is in increase of flow versus stock output. For this reason we provide both rating types.

This is where we differ from other companies, we have a vested interest in your success and satisfaction of our products. We offer at no cost, a free core check report. For this reason it may benefit you greatly to send your cores ahead of time, or even have your original injectors rebuilt. In the event that you have had a CP3 generating metal and sending it through the injectors, or have had water in the fuel, or filtration issues, you will be made aware of the condition.
