The maladies of a mechanical compression testing tool. Oh the effort of writing down those numbers, and cranking the engine while you are unable to see whether or not the needle on the gauge is moving. I have also found myself getting to the last cylinder, then realizing I may have inadvertently written down the numbers for the wrong cylinders. Even though these are minor inconveniences, faults do occur in our humanity. We are not immune to making mistakes, even simple ones.

Suppose we remove the human factor and not only let the Windows-based application keep track of things, but also when we are finished the cylinder to cylinder deviations will calculate the percentage for us automatically. We can also save an image of the testing results, and use social media or email to share the results. You could also print the results using the customer’s name, for a very professional presentation. A folder is automatically created in the PC/laptop’s drive C: with the screenshot image inside the folder. Cylinder volume color is user selectable, and the the selected color is saved for the next use.

The kit includes adapters for most popular glow plug ports, such as M10x1.0, M10x1.25 and M12x1.25.

We also include a common rail 5.9/6.7 Cummins adapter, the replaces the injector.
